[INRAD] Filter selection with FT-1000 MKV Field

I'm usually pretty capable of reading English-language instructions but I'm really having a hard time determining from the Yaesu manual how I ought to set the menu options to make the most flexible use of the INRAD 2.1 Khz SSB filters I've just installed in the 2nd (8.2 Mhz) and 3rd (455 Khz) slots in my FT-1000MP MKV Field.

Here are the settings I've made ...
  a.. Menu item 5-0 is set to "8.2 - 455"
  b.. Menu item 5-1 is set to "on"
  c.. Menu Item 5-5 is set to "on"
and here's what I think they do when operating SSB...
  a.. NOR sets the 2nd IF to "through" and uses a 6.0 Khz filter in the 3rd IF
  b.. NAR1 uses the Yaesu 2.4 Khz filters in the 2nd and 3rd IF
  c.. NAR2 engages the INRAD 2.1 Khz filters in the 2nd and 3rd IF
Am I right? If not, how should I set these menu options?
