[INRAD] Roofing filter for FT-1000

Best way is A-B, with and without, but it's expensive. To hear the way it used to be, I can listen to the aux rcvr.

Qualitatively, I experience "cleaner" bands when tuning under high-traffic conditions. The NB doesn't respond to sigs past the roofer's skirts. My near radio neighbors' close-in pops and crackles, eg, on 75M, aren't there anymore.

If I had the money in my hand again, I'd make the purchase again in a heartbeat.

  All -

I'm giving consideration to purchasing the roofing filter for the Yaesu FT-1000. I would appreciate real world feedback on the performance in this radio.
