I've never ran accross one being two short. You do have to remove 2 pins
from the radio. It's been a while so I don't remember for sure, but try
putting it on again, and then look at it, and you'll see 2 pin holes on the
filter, 4 on the radio. Carefully remove these 2 pins so they don't go
flying into the radio when you remove them. I like to take a pair of vice
grips (right size of course) and secure them to the top of the 2 pins. Then
clip the pins off as close as you can from the header. If you have a new
103, it should be in the instructions. The 103 and 104 make a great combo
for the 850. If in doubt, email George at www.qth.com/inrad.
