Hello fellows:

Thanks for putting this list together. Now I can get some
straight answers:

I am purchasing a FT-920
First time for me on a rig of this quality.
I am used to Icoms and presently have an Icom 728.

The guy said he removed and sold separately the CW FILTER
and the AM filter because he didn't like the way the AM
filter sounded on shortwave.

He is calling the rig "stock", which as far as filtering
and DSP I am not sure what that means, maybe someone can
help me on that one. I have the manual so if it is
whatever is said in the manual I can look that up in the
manual.

I have just been offered from another Ham a "Inrad switch
board(FT-920) with 2.1 kHz and 1.8 kHz filters mounted,
all hardware, and instructions."

I am not sure what this is: Will this take care of all of
my filtering needs for the FT-920 or do I need to buy
filters for it also?

 73 fer nw,
Bob N5IET

Code may be taking a back seat for now,
but the pioneering spirit that put the code
there in the first place is out front of it all.
