My friend SP5BR got from a US ham Inrad SSB 2.1KHz filters for Kenwood
TS930S.
The both filters (8830kHz and 455kHz) are taken off from an old rig, so
there was
no chance to get any original information how to install it (especially
that with one of
them there is a PCB) but my friend does not know is that an original
part or not.
Jacek, standard Kenwood filters are
plug in using 5-pin connectors on each end
of the PC board. The 8830 is the small one
and the 455 is the large one here:

Inrad's 2.1 kHz filters are larger since
they have more poles, and must be wired in.
See note 4 under both 2.1 filters below:
"4. Inrad filter much larger than mfgr's filter. Wire in."

>The question is if it is enough to solder input and output connection
after removal the original ones or such a filter should be in some way
interfaced (PCB?).
I am certain Inrad would send you
a copy of the installation instructions if
you contact them at any address below:
http://www.qth.com/inrad/index.htm
I believe you need instructions for the
Inrad #94 (8830) and #96 (455) filters.
