You beat me to it Jim!!!
Jerry, you really need to try RTTY with your 250 Hz filter. With 20m getting
so crowded with digital signals during a contest, I couldn't operate without
a 250 Hz filter.
The only trick with using a 250 Hz filter is tuning a signal in. You need to
be using the finest tuning ratio that your radio provides. Mine supports 1
KHz per revolution of the knob, and this works great.
