[INRAD] Filters for the TS850 kenwood.

The '850 has one of the most "sensitive" receivers ever made by Kenwood...don't think you can do anything to make it any better! However, you can make it more "selective" by adding narrower filters. With the right filter combination, the '850 is one of the best radios ever made!

What kind of "improvement" are you looking for? If it's filtering out ajacent signals, then try the InRad 2.1K or 1.8K filter(s). For SSB, try using a pair of 2.1K filters (one in each IF). You can then use the "slope tuning" controls on the '850 to further narrow the bandwidth. In the last remaining slot in the 2nd IF, put a 1.8K or a CW filter (400Hz) for those times you want to use CW.

I have two '850's and they run great with the InRads.

I´am need some information for the TS850 from Kenwood for better Sensitivty.
The Receiver circuitry are triple converion system
	Intermediate Frequency : 1 st IF =73.05 MHz 2nd.IF = 8.83 MHz 3rd IF = 455 KHz

We have instal a YK-88SN-1 SSB 8830 kHz filter but no improvement
