Have you performed the W8JI NB mod, yet?  Could be IM from that, or 
could be IM.  Does adding attenuation in the front end eliminate the 
problem?

I have a ft1000 that I am very happy with. However, there seems to be 
what I would call "blow-by" on CW from strong signals. These signals do 
not have to be near by in either frequency or location. I am using the 
yaseau filters. Will any of the Inrad filters improve the performance? 
All comments are appreciated.
