[INRAD] filter comparison

If you mean the Murata, you could buy the one that I removed from a IC-746
and put in a INRAD 2,4 kHz in instead, but it seems that I did not bother to
keep it. It seems like I put it just just where it belongs. In the garbage
bin.

If one wants a wider filter one can get a INRAD 2,8kHz filter. There is no
sense in getting a narower filter with bad shape factor.

For better filters in AM and FM I recomend Kiwa filters that is
pin-compatible filters that really have the bandwith that is promised. See
http://www.kiwa.com/index.html

I measured several Murata 6kHz and 8kHz filter and found them to be much
wider than promised. A 6kHz Murata filter was about 8,2kHz at -6dB. Te Kiwa
filters was not any steeper, but they complied with the advertised -6dB
bandwith.

The Murata filters for SSB is just a joke.
